Alex and Katie married in the quiet Malvern hills above Tenbury Wells.

St Mary’s, a 12th century ancient and atmospheric church housed their ceremony — before the couple chugged along to Alex’s parents’ house in Alex’s lorry cab.

Highlights included Alex arriving in his actual HGV cab (a first for me) a wedding party that brought the atmosphere from the very start and brilliant speeches, that perfect mix of tear jerkers and the risque. Plus the kids embracing thunderclaps and in the process completely obliterating their suits.

We just beat the rain though, squeezing in portraits in a glorious field of sunflowers.
